May my geese fly over your barn?
Two children sit opposite to each other; the first turns her fingers one over the other, and says the first sequence. The other answers, Yes, if they'll do no harm. Upon which the first unpacks the fingers of her hand, and waving it over head, says the second sequence.
“"May my geese fly over your barn?"
"Fly over his barn and eat all his corn."”
