Marejada (Portuguese: Marejada) is one of the most popular national Brazilian celebrations (fiestas) in Itajaí city (Portuguese: Itajaí), Santa Catarina state. This celebration commemorates the first disembarkation of European people from Portugal to the Brazilian coast.
