Itsy Bitsy Spider
"Itsy Bitsy Spider" (also known as "Incy Wincy Spider" or "Eency Weency Spider" or "Ipsy Wispy Spider" or "Ipsy Dipsy Spider") is a popular nursery rhyme that describes the adventures of a spider as it ascends, descends and reascends the downspout or "waterspout" of a gutter system (or, alternatively, the spout of a teapot). It is usually accompanied by a sequence of gestures that mimic the words of the song
“The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.
Down came the rain, and washed the spider out.
Up came the sun, and dried up all the rain,
and the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.”
